Project Reveal: Transformative Bathroom Renovation in Chester County, PA

Our clients came to us needing to renovate their primary bathroom. It is the only full bathroom in the house and it wasn't functioning well for their family. They wanted the space to be used more effectively and the bathroom needed some cosmetic updates. To create more space for a larger shower, we removed a small storage closet that was very narrow and deep so it didn't allow for much functional storage space. Since the shower is now larger, we were able to include a hidden niche shelf for shower necessities. We installed a large trough sink to expand the vanity area and make the doorway seem less crowded. Removing the medicine cabinet and off center mirror allowed for one large mirror and bright vanity lighting.

Our Process & Project Launch

Our client requested the bathroom remodel to include wood-like tile on the shower walls, large format floor tile and a colorful accent tile for the shower. We were able to tie all of those requests together to create a cohesive and modern look rounded out with chrome hardware finishes. A larger sink without a cabinet underneath was a must have for this renovation which allowed the space to feel more open. We were able to add a luxurious towel warmer and overhead heat lamp.

Bathroom Renovation Revealed

The final design created the feel of an overall larger bathroom with a modern and relaxing spa feel that leaves the room open and airy. We added a pop of color with the blue tile to draw your eye through the shower. The sink was a special request from our client. She wanted a large, modern trough sink with open space underneath. This cleverly expands the sink area. We also opened up the area by removing the medicine cabinet and centered a mirror over the vanity.

"Megan and Eric were great to work with. This was our first remodeling project on a big scale and everything went as expected… within the time frame they quoted us and no unexpected costs. The bathroom is exactly what we asked for! Three months in and still loving it, thanks!” Judi S.
